I wanted to click on the "Like" button (like in Facebook) if there was one! :)

I have never felt that great sense of pride to be a Singaporean, and I have entertained thoughts that suggest that Singapore is lacking or is not good enough after studying overseas. But I would like to see that day, of which you have painted out, come to pass...

To have that sense of pride a Singaporean should feel.
To continue working together to become THAT SINGAPORE NATION that everyone wants to be a part of.

[...] We’ve established meaningful friendships with our students and with others in the community, but we’ve also strained other relationships by our “privileged” and “proud” behavior. I think it’s unfortunate and unfair that some of our actions were perceived as such, but I also recognize that we judge others according to their actions, but we judge ourselves according to our intentions.
Do you really think it's only the money?
The banking companies and consulting companies hire from all backgrounds. So those who manage to make it through 4 years of college and don't have a career lined up, this appears to be a great option.
Most people I know who went into these professions, don't like their jobs at all. And they realize rather late the money isn't worth it.
