Living Large was started on the belief that meaningful relationships and meaningful dreams are the foundation of a meaningful life.
Your dreams don't have to be huge or impossible-sounding. They just have to be bigger than who you are today. Acting on your dreams forces you to become a bigger person-- that's the true prize at the end of the day.
So let's live large, not just in our careers, but in every other area of our lives, too. And let's not forget that, as Dr. Scott Sticksel says, life is relationships. The rest is just details.

Hi Daniel,
My friend Brian, whom you also know from Duke, told me about your blog. I think it’s great what you’re doing. I was hoping you’d cover the topic of how young adults, upon graduating from college, can find what they want to do in an economy where you’re just fortunate to get any sort of a job. How do we handle that as a generation? How can we avoid the trap of doing just whatever pays the bills? Is it even realistic, or do we have to change our expectations? Sometimes it seems living out one’s dreams is a luxury only for the well-connected, wealthy, or “luck” few.
